Dolores Hart is an American Roman Catholic nun and former actress. She was the only child of actor Bert Hicks and Harriett Hicks, who separated and ultimately divorced, when she was three years old. She had a successful career in Hollywood.
She made ten films in five years. She became famous for her film debut with Elvis Presley in the 1957 film “Loving You,” and soon starred in nine more films with big stars such as Montgomery Clift.
She then shocked Hollywood in 1963 by deciding to enter a monastery.
