Specialist Officers at UCO Bank
About UCO Bank: UCO Bank is the oldest commercial bank of India. It was formed in 1943 with the name as United Commercial Bank by the Ghanshyam Das Birla, an Indian Industrialist. Around 2000 service units of UCO bank are located at different parts of the country and also 50 centres for foreign exchange business.
UCO Bank invites applications from Indian Nationals and interested candidates can apply only through ONLINE procedure and last date to apply is 17th October 2011. No other mode of application will be accepted. Candidates applying for the post of Law and Security Officers should send printout of the online application form latest by 21st October 2011.
All the vacancies are for the positions of Security Officers, Law Officers and IT Officers.
101 vacancies are for JMGS-1,
17 posts are for MMGS-II and
9 posts are for MMGS-III.
Pay scale : Candidates selected for the scale of JMGS I will get salary under the pay scale of Rs. 14500 – 25700/- while MMGS II will get salary under the pay scale of Rs. 19400 – 28100/- and Rs. 25700 – 31500/- is the pay scale fixed for MMGS III.
Age limit : Candidates age should not be less than 21 and not more than 35 years for the JMGS I. But for MMGS II age limit should be 25 – 35 years and 30 – 40 years is for MMGS III.
Qualification : Graduation in the relevant stream is the minimum qualification required for the above positions.
For IT Officers, candidates has to clear the written test and then interview. Written test will be held at Ahmadabad, Guwahati, Bangalore, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Chennai, Patna, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Bhubaneswar, Lucknow, Kolkata and Bhopal. While only interview is the mode of selection for Law Officers and Security Officers.
