A request letter from Shree Muthappan Seva Samiti, Ahmedabad
SHREE MUTHAPPAN SHARANAM
Shree Muthappan Seva Samithi, Ahmedabad, is a registered Public Charitable Trust.
It is believed that Lord Muthappan is the incarnation of both Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva. During Pooja, Lord Muthappan gives Darshan and Blessings to devotees in the form of Theyyams (means God). Lord Muthappan is worshipped by all sections of society, irrespective of caste, creed and religion.
For the last five years we have been conducting Thiruvappana Vellatta Mahotsavam, which is the main annual Pooja, at Ahmedabad, in makeshift temple.
During Theyyam performance we were told that Lord Muthappan wishes to have a permanent abode at Ahmedabad and hence the devotees cherished a desire to
have a permanent place for Lord Muthappan.
By the grace of Lord Muthappan, M/s Karma Ventures, a well-known developer, offered land for constructing the temple at a concessional rate in their scheme known as "Kalpataru Lake City" on Sanand Nalsarovar Road.
Presently, the fund lying with us is not sufficient for building a beautiful temple in line with temple architect.
We therefore, earnestly request you to kindly donate generously for this noble cause. The donations may be made by demand draft or account payee cheque drawn in favour of "Shree Muthappan Seva Samithi, Ahmedabad" or can also be deposited directly in the A/c No.910010043480774 (Axis Bank) or A/c No.014300100006397 (Dhanalakshmi Bank).
